We examine every car individually to ensure that all the information is correct and to give you the best price possible.

We will buy any car, and it makes no difference to us its condition, mileage, or whether it has a current MOT or not. if you have a specific make of car to sell, you can find all car makes here.

Start by submitting your Vehicle Registration and answering some basic questions.

Please give as much detail as possible, taking time, ideally, to walk around your car.  The car valuation we will quote reflects the accuracy of the information you provide and our internal pricing process.

Please also ensure that you enter your correct contact number so we can call you, as we will need to speak to you to maximise our free car valuation for your car. No two used cars are the same, and just 5 minutes online and on the phone with us will save you half a day off work, taking your car to one of our competitors to have almost the same conversation.

We will then call you to (re)confirm specific details.

If you asked an estate agent how much your house is worth and then asked him or her how much they would buy it for, the second figure would be different to the first figure. This, in essence, is the difference between an estimated online car valuation and a qualified purchase quotation. To provide you with the latter, we will need to spend 5 minutes on the phone to determine how much your car is worth.

Remember, this is the conversation you will have with our competitors when you take the car to them. Our approach is much easier for you, and we then come to collect your car.

We will then quote you an accurate purchase price

Is it possible to quote a guaranteed car valuation without seeing your car? No, it isn’t, and we strongly urge you to stay clear of anyone who tells you otherwise. However, with the right process, tools, and communication skills, it is possible to be “almost there.”

At AAC, since we started measuring our quotation accuracy, we have continued to average more than 95% of the price we quoted before inspection. In other words, if we quote £10,000 on average, we transact at circa £9500. This compares to a sector average between 70% and 80%.

We will then come to collect/inspect your car

Once we have agreed on a price to buy your car, a fully-trained member of our vehicle inspections team will come to view, inspect and test-drive your car.

Cleared funds payment will be in your account before we leave.

Once the vehicle inspection is completed, we will transfer full payment from our bank to yours or pay you cash whichever you prefer. If opted for a bank transfer we will have you confirm receipt of cleared funds payment with your bank (note, this is literally immediate, so no waiting around required), we will drive your car away.
